Postulancy Process Overhaul and Standardization- Coordinated by Sister Cardi-oid K’Boom – Ongoing

During their beginnings with the House, Sister Cardi’oid K’Boom was a glutton for information about the Sistory of the house, what made the Fourth City Sisters unique, what the “rules to live by” were for the House, general guidelines of the requirements for each level of elevation, and generally all those pesky legal-eese things that make a house run but get in the way some times too.  After getting as many different answers as there are personalities in the House, Cardi reached back to the concept of the pledge education manual from their days in a college fraternity; a holy tome (if you will) that held all of the knowledge any New Member could ever want.

Cardi reached out to Sisters from other houses inquiring if such a wonderful document existed, and finding that no house he contacted had such a thing (but MANY thought it was a fantastic idea) they took it upon themselves to materialize such a sacred relic to be passed on through the generations.  A committee was formed and the task was set.

The House created a committee, chaired by Cardi, to develop a document that would put all the information any Postulant could ever want right at their fingertips.  They also endeavored to create a “journey of growth” for the Postulants and Novices to undertake; including different styles of manifestation/outreach, interviewing Sisters from other Houses about their growth and journey, creating a meaningful platform to build the Postulant and Novice Projects from, and generally a more holistic view of what Sistering was all about.

The committee expects to have this project completed by Fall 2020
